“So long as men can breathe and eyes can see, so long lives this, and this gives life to thee.” (Wm. Shakespeare, Sonnet 18)
The Sacramento Shakespeare Festival has been producing summer classics since 1966. The pandemic, along with regular cuts to education have reduced our budget over the last decade. Due to very aggressive financial management, we’ve been able to survive on our savings for some years, but the surplus has run very low. We are facing a significant shortfall for our upcoming seasons. We need your help. Every dollar helps, every dollar counts. Let’s keep Shakespeare alive in Sacramento…the best part of the summer!
